It’s Been A While

Hello All, I know that it’s been quite a while since I’ve made a blog post, I can’t believe how quickly the time has flown by. I’ve been so busy studying and working I haven’t had as much time for crafting as I’d like. But, I did sit down at my desk today and manged to create something. I’m not too sure about it, I feel slightly out of practice. But I do love the colours and the bow I finally got to play with the new In Colour colours. They are quite pretty. Anyway, if anyone still reads this, I hope you like it.

Oh I am so in love with this stamp set, really really love it. It’s at the top of my priority list. There are so many elements to this set and so many things you can do with it. This was the last card I made on the Inklings camp, my last, and the one I think I spent the most time on. These colours are just lovely together, and they’re older colours too, ones I don’t bring out all that much.

This also uses one of the new border punches we have, Lace Ribbon Border, it looks so good on a card. Especially with a bit of shading around the edge to pop it out. Anyway, enjoy!

A New Look Blog

Hello Everyone! As you can see I’ve done a bit of website maintenance, I had some trouble on the weekend with some silly little hackers. Goodness why they thought I was exciting enough to hack, but I’ll take it as a compliment. I decided that with that happening it would be a great opportuntiy for a fresh start and something easier to manage. I’ll eventually get everything back up and running, like the tutorial videos. And I will try and post as frequently as time allows me too. But for now, I have something to show you! Being so close to the new catalogue we have some wonderful new stamps coming up. And I got to play with a few on the Inklings team weekend away. So much fun. I’ll try and post a couple of samples this week, and if you’d like to order a new catty, please let me know. And I’ll happily post one out to you for the cost of the postage fee.

This is such a fun stamp set, I really love the sentiment style, it’s gorgeous. This set is called My Friend, and is certainly a must have. So easy to do beautiful cards with. And it’s a big stamp, the card here is actually an A4 size just folded in half. I felt a lovely big stamp deserved a lovely big card. I hope you like it!
