I had a lovely Colouring and Embossing class today. It’s always nice to have a great class with a lovely bunch of ladies
But I just wanted to show you the projects we did today, this was the card for the colouring part of the class, but it’s always nice to make a boy card too.

And this one was for the embossing part of the class, we embossed the silver butterflies for the card. I really like this one, the colours go really well together I think.

I bought some new paper this week, the paper special was just too good an opportunity to miss out! When I opened up the packs, this sheet really caught my eye. I wanted to do a lovely easy page for my daughters 8th birthday pictures. And this sheet was perfect. I didn’t have to add much to it, I really wanted to showcase the pattern at the bottom. I also got a chance to try out my new cricut alpahabet, very sweet.

Don’t forget the Designer Paper promotion, buy 3 packs get 1 free! Also if you’ve thought about joining now’s the time, it’s only $150 this month to become a demonstrator, how awesome is that! Contact me if you’d like more information.

I know that it is Fresh Cuts again, but I’m finding a lot of lovely uses for this stamp set. And the fact that it can give me a very quick lovely card in just minutes is a big bonus for me. Hope you like it.

And this was the great prize, Cheep Talk, I’ve been eyeing this set off I just haven’t gotten around to buying it, now I can spend my money on another great set lol. This is a buckle card too. I’ll put the instructions on how to make this up later.

It’s also the last challenge on the Elite Challenges Blog, this was a colour challenge, Kiwi Kiss, Pacific Point and Chocolate Chip. Didn’t turn out too bad if I do say so myself.

This weekend, I’m off to Sydney with my family for a combined 95th, 70th and 18th birthday party. My husbands grandfather, aunt and cousin are all celebrating these wonderful milestones. Yesterdays card was for Pop, today’s card is for the cousin and tomorrows is for the Aunt.
But, I was really happy with this card, I love Circle Circus, I can see this is going to get used a lot.

Have a look in the top right hand corner of the card, these are the new Build-A-Brads, they are so easy to use and look fantastic don’t you think. You just punch out the design you want using the 1/2 inch circle punch attach it to the bubble and attach it to the brad. So now you’ll always have brads that match your card!
All materials are Stampin’ Up!
Stamp Set - Circle Circus
Inks - Regal Rose, Rose Red, Blush Blossom, Almost Amethyst.
Cardstock - Whisper White, Almost Amethyst
Accessories - Circle Punches, Scallop Circle Punch, Build A Brad

Sorry it’s been so long since I posted. This week our school had the Mothers Day stall, so guess what I was doing for 3 days lol. But it was fun and the kids loved it. Although I am really happy today to have been able to sit down and create some, if I do say so myself, fabulous cards! And I’m even going to put the promise out there that I am going to post a new card everyday! Seriously I am! So here’s the first one. This is one of the Elite Challenge Blog Challenges, it’s for Trendy Trees. This was also one of the free sets at Convention. We all received 2 sets, Trendy Trees and Circle Circus and I won one. Cheep Talk. So happy with that. Now, I hope you all have a fabulous weekend and don’t forget to come back everyday and see what else I’ve made

All materials used are Stampin’ Up! and available through me.
Stamp Set - Trendy Trees, On Your Birthday
Cardstock - Pumpkin Pie, Not Quite Navy, Old Olive
Inks - Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive.
Now, how did I create this fabulous background. Well you take your inkpad and just push it down lightly all over your cardstock. Easy, but looks great doesn’t it?
