Scribble This

Apr 25th, 2009 Posted in Scribble This | one comment »

I should be packing for my 4 days away or making my convention swaps (which I haven’t even started on!) but instead I’m playing for fun lol.  Just a quick card.  This on is using Scribble This, I also decided to bring out some accessories, so out came, the new Filigree Brads (yummy) and my Pretties Kit.  Gotta love those big flowers.

As I said, I’m going to be away for 4 days, DH and I celebrated our 10th Wedding Anniversary yesterday so are taking some time away tomorrow.  Then the day after I come back I’m off to Canberra for the Stampin’ Up! Convention!  I’m going to try and put a few posts up when in Canberra to let you know how it’s all going, which should be fun lol.

Anyhoo, I hope everyone has a great week, and I’ll try and post when I can.  Enjoy!

Washington Apple Paper

I had some new stuff delivered the other day, unfortunately I was in Sydney all weekend and haven’t had a chance to play with it until today.  Do you know how hard that was??? (And added to the fact that I spent all day yesterday reading New Moon…)

I’ve finally managed to have a play while listening to Linkin Park to keep me motivated.  Linkin Park is certainly my scrapping music lol.  This is what I came up with, I think this paper is so very yummy.  I’m going to enjoy using this one.  But have a look at the awesome new Filigree Brads as well, how cool does that look?  Let me know what you think. Ya know how much I love comments :-D

I’m actually really glad this stamp set made it from the Spring Mini into the main catty.  It’s such a cute and quirky little set and makes wonderful gift cards :)  And how rockin are these In Colours!  Seeing them all together like that is so pretty.  I think I’m particually partial to Tangerine Tango, yep certainly am.

Enjoy!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter, I’m still polishing off the Easter Eggs I hid from the kids lol. Shhh don’t tell… I also finally got to play with a couple of new sets this morning, these are Petal Pizzaz and On Your Birthday.  I really like this set, and I have a feeling I’m going to be saying that a lot with some of the yummy new sets in this years catalogue.

I had to have another little play with this set this morning, and it really is growing on me.  I thought I’d muck around and make some quick and easy notecards, these are always great as quick gifts for people.  I really like how these turned out.  I hope you do too.  three-little-words-notecard

I finally got this stamp set yesterday and this is the first time I’ve had to play with it.  I’m quite enamoured by it.  I love the flower, so funky and looks great coloured with the markers.  And I just had to emboss, it’s quite a simple card, but I like it.
