Another Layout

Sep 18th, 2009 Posted in Designer Paper | no comment »

Amazingly I’ve finished another layout.  Using the same sketch from the Inklings Challenge (the link is in the post below). This time I used my son’s photo.  And I pulled out some paper that’s been sitting in my paper pouch for a while.  This is called Windsor Knot and it makes great masculine or boy pages.  I’m very happy with this layout and I’m acutally very tempted to do it again in a 12×12 size.  This one is 6×6.  I’ll see how I go over the weekend lol.

Always Designer Paper

I bought some new paper this week, the paper special was just too good an opportunity to miss out!  When I opened up the packs, this sheet really caught my eye.  I wanted to do a lovely easy page for my daughters 8th birthday pictures.  And this sheet was perfect.  I didn’t have to add much to it, I really wanted to showcase the pattern at the bottom. I also got a chance to try out my new cricut alpahabet, very sweet.

Washington Apple Paper

I had some new stuff delivered the other day, unfortunately I was in Sydney all weekend and haven’t had a chance to play with it until today.  Do you know how hard that was??? (And added to the fact that I spent all day yesterday reading New Moon…)

I’ve finally managed to have a play while listening to Linkin Park to keep me motivated.  Linkin Park is certainly my scrapping music lol.  This is what I came up with, I think this paper is so very yummy.  I’m going to enjoy using this one.  But have a look at the awesome new Filigree Brads as well, how cool does that look?  Let me know what you think. Ya know how much I love comments :-D
