Well it’s getting very near to Valentines Day, where all the chocolate and love hearts are all around. I wanted to play around with the heart punches that I just got and decided to CASE a card from the Summer Mini, this is based on the card on page 15. I have changed a few things though :-) But what I really want to CASE from it was the ribbon behind the punched out hearts. I thought this looked really cute and just had to copy it. I don’t think it turned out too badly, I quite like it. What do you think?

I had a bit more fun playing with the Butterfly Prints set again this morning. This time I went with a kind of vintage look. I think the Tangerine Tango and Kiwi Kiss combine wonderfully. And I even had to add a bit of bling to the butterflies, just to sparkle them up a little.
And how cute is the Kiwi Kiss satin ribbon, I was lucky enough to recieve this in last years Secret Santa on Angela’s forum. Nice.

All materials used are Stampin’ Up!
Stamp Set - Butterfly Prints and Vintage Labels. (SAB free set)
Inks - Kiwi Kiss, Tangerine Tango
Cardstock - Whisper White, Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss

These are one of the lovely new items in the Summer Mini, I just had to have a play with them today, I thought I’d try making a flower and using the Sweet Treat Cup as the centre. I think it became a pretty groovy looking shaker card. I added glitter to the cup to give it some sparkle.

The colours I used were Rose Red, Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Chip, 3 of my favourite colours and if you scroll back over my posts you’ll find I’ve used those a lot, but they’re so pretty! I hope you like it.

From now until the 28th Febuary. Stampin’ Up! are donating $2 from every I {Heart} Hearts stamp set sold to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief and Development Fund. The Red Cross are already well established in Haiti and this money will go to greatly aid them in the continuing support of the Haitian people when they need it the most.
I wish to not make any money on these sales as well so will be waiving my 20% income on all of these sets for the time of the promotion. Which makes the stamp set $34.36. Please help support the Red Cross today.

Gosh, it’s been a long time since I’ve posted and for that I deeply apologise. I started a new job just before Christmas and I’m still trying to find time to do everything. And boy have I missed stamping! I’ve come to realise that it’s not just a “job” for me, but an escape. Listening to some music on the iPod and stamping is a nice destress after a day at work and the kids have gone to bed.
This is the first card I’ve made since before Christmas, you’ll have to forgive me I think I’m a bit rusty lol. But this is some of the lovely new stuff in the Summer Mini. The Sherbet Buttons are so pretty, and the stamp set is For Everything, I think it’s quite funky and one of the first ones that caught my eye.

Don’t forget if you want a copy of the Summer Mini please send me an email and I’ll pop one in the post for you, free of charge

Stamp Set - For Everything
Cardstock - Pretty In Pink, Pumpkin Pie, Bashful Blue, Whisper White

I just realised how long it’s been since I’ve posted on my blog! I am so sorry. I have been a bit slack lately, but I will try my hardest to update a bit more regularly. This is a card I’ve been wanting to share with you for a while, those on my newsletter would have seen it included in the pics (I think lol) but it’s such a fun card to do. And quite easy once you know the measurements. I’m not sure where it orginally came from so can’t give credit for the design. Sorry.

This is what it looks like when it’s all closed up and this is the how it looks when it’s open.

I hope you like it. Also don’t forget the Spring Mini is ending at the beginning of the month! So contact me if you’d like any of those last minute items before they go.

Oh it’s been so long since I’ve posted an acutal project! I am so so sorry, life has really gotten in the way lately. But I’m back! And I have a few things to post over the next few days. This one was such a fun thing to do. I had a lovely white box sitting on top of my bookcase just waiting to be made into something special. And I needed to make a box to hold my Christmas Cards in to make them look pretty . Well you can see the outcome here…..

So this is the finished product. Very simple and easy but looks fabulous sitting on my desk slowly being filled with my cards for the year.
And don’t forget there’s only 2 more weeks left of the Sping Mini! Make sure you get in soon so you don’t miss out on any of the wonderful products.

Stampin’ Up! are now offering Australian demonstrators the chance to sign up to have our own Personalised Business Websites. These are very handy for a demonstrator, they’ll update the promotions automatically and allow us to put projects up that our lovely customers can look at.
As a customer you can also access all the information you need on hosting a workshop, what products are available and you can join up online! How awesome is that. So please check out the link to my new website. That’s where all my classes, events and promotions will be from now on. But my blog will still be up and running. I know I’ve been very slack in updating in the last couple of weeks but I haven’t forgotten you all. :-) So click on the link on the left and have a look around and please let me know what you think.
Cheers, Karen.
